Rates:  

• Include Accommodation and Full breakfast 
• Exclude Lunch and dinner, laundry, transfers and tour services, telephones, gratuities, wireless internet access and mini bar
• Rates are quoted in South African Rands per room per night inclusive of 14% VAT and all bed levies
• Rates are subject to change without notice

Bookings and reservations:

• All bookings are subject to availability on confirmation
• Provisional bookings will only be held for a maximum of 72 hours
• Full name of guests travelling will be required to convert status from provisional booking to
   confirmed together with deposit
• Should confirmation not be received by the given date, the booking will automatically be released and can only be re-instated on the basis of availability and that the booking is confirmed

Private Payment Policy:

• A deposit of 25% within 2 weeks of making the booking will secure your reservation. Balance of account will be due on departure
• Highlands Country House reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date


Tour Operator/Travel Agent Payment Policy:

• Full B&B account is due 2 weeks before arrival unless otherwise agreed in 
   writing                                                         
• Highlands Country House reserves the right to release bookings should payment not be received by the requested date

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation within 15-30 days of arrival, 50% of full accommodation amount will be levied
• Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival, the full accommodation amount will be levied
• Cancellation for medical reasons will require proof in the form of a valid doctors certificate
• Cancellations will only be accepted in writing and they must be sent to
info@highlands.co.za or faxed to +27 21 761 0017. Please ensure that you get a response acknowledging your cancellation
• In the event of premature departure, the full extent of stay as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged
• Refunds of monies paid for bookings are at the discretion of Management and are dependent on ability to re-sell the rooms
• We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances

Child Policy:

• Children are most welcome at Highlands under very strict supervision                                
• Children between 0 – 11 can share with their parents levied at R450 per child (limited to two children)   
                         
Third Parties Policy:                                                                                                                    

• No third persons/adults are allowed in the rooms                                  
• In the event that a single Registered Highlands Guests invites a guest to stay the night, the new guest must sign in at the front desk and the double room rate will apply

Arrivals/Departures:

• Check-in is after 14h00
• Check-out is by 11h00
• Please notify us in advance of any late and early check-ins
• Late departures should be discussed with Management
