Private Dining Cape Town - Dining Room

Once the lounge of our Sir Herbert Baker mansion, the floors, long sash windows, ceilings and functional fire place are the same as over 100 years ago.
Guests are welcome to request teas, lunches and suppers and are encouraged to invite their own guests to join them.

Breakfast patio

Our breakfasts are sumptuous using only the finest and freshest ingredients and include cold buffet and any hot food of your choice.
Breakfast is served until noon - taken in the dining room, breakfast conservatory, on the patio or in your room.

Conservatory

Highlands has areas other than the dining room where guests can take breakfast, lunch, tea or supper. The Conservatory is one of these, shown here during the day.
This area is private from the main house and when set at night with our finest silver and candles, looking over the pool and garden, is without doubt the most beautiful setting for special dinners, intimate dining and family celebrations.
We have suggested menus and welcome any input when requesting mealtime bookings. Our chef also prepares all meals and snacks for conferences and private meals, other than those taken by guests staying with us. To book for your private party, arrangements can be made through reception.
